These were first chipped with VGC Tinny Tin followed by VMC Gun Metal Grey and then washed with Seraphim Sepia. Then used thinned down VMC Light Rust followed by GW Fuegan Orange for rust patterns. Then the last bit grime added with thinned VMC Smoke. The small clear plastic rod inserts supplied for the portholes a have been glued in and left as is.
The same process was completed on the metal frames for the hatches. Also completed the concrete and walls. Used VMA Aged White to dull walls and add variety to the floor. To further add age to the walls used a mix of VMA Light Camo Green with Middlestone approx. 75/25 mix. Airbrushed lightly onto walls and on floors to represent mold/algae. Then airbrushed Tamiya Flat Black on very low PSI onto top part of wall to try and give the appearance of darker mold. Floor was then washed with GW Seraphim Sepia.
So doors now in position and in closed and open position
Other pieces to be completed to give me time to decide whether to add more weathering particularly to the walls.
